Allan H. Schoenfeld, M.D.

Received his undergraduate degree from Brooklyn College. He earned an M.A. degree and was matriculated into a doctorate program in education at New York University before beginning his career in medicine. He is a graduate of the University Autonoma de Guadalajara. Dr. Schoenfeld served his medical internship at New Jersey College of Medicine and Dentistry at Rutgers University and his residency in Ophthamology at the Washington Hospital Center in Washington D.C. He is founder of Ocean Eye Institute, and is the pioneer of implant surgery in Ocean County. He is also a member of OC Medical Society and member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.

Neil H. Robinson, M.D.

Received his Bachelor of Science Degree with honors in Biology from Tulane University in New Orleans and his medical degree from the Tulane University School of Medicine. He served his internship at Long Island Jewish Hospital in New York and his residency in Ophthalmology at George Washington University Hospital in Washington D.C. Dr. Robinson is a Diplomat of the American Board of Ophthalmology, a Fellow of the American Academy Of Ophthalmology, and American College of Eye Surgeons, President of the Treasurer of the New Jersey Outpatient Ophthalmic Surgery Society, and Medical Director of Ocean Surgery Center. Dr. Robinson is part of a handful of eye surgeons in the Tri-State area who are FDA certified in the latest technology to correct low to moderate nearsightedness called INTACS (intrastromal corneal rings). Additionally, Dr. Robinson has the only Lasik Center facility in Ocean County in which he trains and proctors other surgeons. He also pioneered these procedures by servicing both Ocean and Momouth counties. Dr. Robinson has been the Medical Director at Ocean Surgery Center since 1987. He was the first surgeon to implant multifocal and accommodative lenses at the facility.

Michael J Spedick, M.D.

Has a Biology degree cum laude from Seton Hall Univ. and a medical degree from Rutgers Medical School. He completed residencies in Internal Medicine at Rutgers Affiliated Hospitals and in Ophthalmology at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation and a one year fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology at Children's Hospital Nat'l Medical Center in Washington D.C. Dr. Spedick is a Diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology, a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American College of Surgeons, a member of the American Assn. for Pediatric Ophthalmology, and Strabismus and Asst. Clinical Professor at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.

David R. Grossman, M.D.

Graduated from Rutgers College cum laude with an undergraduate degree in Biology. Dr. Grossman received his medical degree from UMDNJ: Rutgers Medical School. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City and his residency and chief residency in Ophthalmology at Hahnemann University in Philadelphia. Dr. Grossman is a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine as well as The American Board of Ophthalmology. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American College of Surgeons as well as Clinical Instructor of Surgery at UMDNJ:Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.

Rubin Brecher, M.D.

Is a fellowship-trained specialist in the medical laser treatment of retinal disorders. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Yeshiva College and completed Albert Einstein College of Medicine with Honors for Research in Ophthalmology. Dr. Brecher completed his residency at Albert Einstein and Montefiore Medical Center and went on to the University of London and Mooresfields Eye Hospital for his fellowship in Medical Retina. He is a Diplomate at the American Board of Ophthalmology and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American Academy of Ophthalmology.

Mitchel A. Lautenberg, M.D.

2005 - Voted in "NJ Monthly" as Top Oculoplastic Surgeon in State

Received his Bachelor of Arts degree with honors from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA. He is a graduate with honors of the New Jersey College of Medicine and Dentistry Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in Piscataway, NJ. Dr. Lautenberg served his medical internship at Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola, NY and completed his residency in ophthalmology at New York Eye & Ear Infirmary in New York City. He completed a fellowship in Ophthalmic Pathology at the New York Eye & Ear Infirmary followed by fellowship in Ophthamalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital. He was in private practice in New York City prior to joining the Ocean Eye Institute. Dr. Lautenberg is a Diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology and a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.

Michael J. Deitz, O.D.

Received his degree on Optometry in 1980 from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biology in 1976 from Fairleigh Dickenson which he attended on a wrestling scholarship. Having served on the Substance Abuse Drug Advisory Council at Lacey High School and as a United Way of Ocean County Volunteer, Dr. Deitz is a member of the American Optometric Association and the New Jersey Optometric Association. He is also a sports commentator for Adelphia Cable , Channel 8.

Daniel J. Brooksbank, O.D.

Received his Optometric degree in 1997 as well as a Bachelors in Visual Science in 1995 from Pennsylvania College of Optometry located in Philadelphia. He also received a Batchelor of Science in Biology from Rowan University in 1993. Currently he is a member of the American Optometric Association & New Jersey Optometric Association.

Joel K. Seiderman, O.D.

Received his degree as Doctor of Optometry in 1979 from the State University of New York College of Optometry. He previously graduated with a Bachelors Degree from Brooklyn College. He has been on the faculty of teaching institutions and has extensive experience in eye care and in managed care. Currently, he is a member of the American Optometric Association and the New Jersey Optometric Association.
